February 5, 2015, after another gigantic stream and upon the conclusion of their live concert Atlus finally showcased a Persona 5 trailer with gameplay.
September 1, 2014, Sony Pre-TGS(Tokyo Game Show) 3pm Japan standard time, a animated Persona 5 trailer is shown detailing the setting and art style.The game will be delayed till 2015, it will be cross platform between the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 both to be released simultaneously. There is no details about differences between the two platforms, cross platform saves, or remote play.
November 24, 2013, Persona 5(ペルソナ5) was officially teased in a 72 hour stream hosted by Atlus. The ending segment featured multiple Persona announcements and was broadcast across Japan on eight large public screens in six major cities.
August 2011, Persona 5 was officially confirmed to be under development. According to Famitsu(video game magazine), Persona 5 will be made with a new engine with the usual staff, Katsura Hashino(星野 桂) as director, Shigenori Soejima(副島 成記) as character designer and Shoji Meguro(目黒 将司) as music composer.
The game is set to release in winter of 2014 for Sony’s PlayStation 3.
